BIG Construction completed the renovation of Konica Minolta’s 4th floor office at 500 West Madison to serve the business functions of both their regional and branch employees. In addition to office space, the 20,000-square-foot buildout includes a reception area, featuring a digital assistant, leading into a 2,500-square-foot showroom.
In order to display the variety of printers, copiers and production products KMBS develops, unique power requirements were added to the space. This was accomplished without disturbing the busy transportation hub lobby below through creative underfloor work using the walker duct systems by adjusting the floor locations and revising AV cabling based on length restrictions.
