Located just outside of Chicago, Flexera – a computer software company specializing in IT management solutions – renovated their 44,000 SF headquarters. Looking to better accommodate their flexible work-from-home policy, Flexera consolidated their entire operation down to one floor.

Offices and hotel spaces carve out the neighborhoods for each department with collaboration and adaptable spaces cushioning the open offices within. A central training room ties the full floor together, opening up into a large café that doubles as a town hall space for large gatherings. The café is highlighted by a swooping ceiling weaving its way across the space and accented by undulating acoustical baffles. Just above these ceiling spaces lies a busy deck that BIG coordinated and laid out to install and route the MEP requirements seamlessly with the security and audio visual additions that span the space.
