BIG Completes Air Line Pilots Association's Headquarters
The Airline Pilot’s Association's new home just outside of O’Hare International in Rosemont is the perfect location to connect and support pilots worldwide. To keep them connected across time zones- ALPA required state-of-the-art technology with white glove AV installation.
The BIG team conducted extensive budgeting exercises to choose the right AV fit for ALPA, ensuring the technology arrived on schedule, within budget, and were installed and working properly by move-in.
The design incorporated existing lighting fixtures and doors, requiring some finessing to adapt them to the new conditions. Being on the top floor, extra attention was given to existing MEP infrastructure, adjusting ductwork to maintain the proposed ceiling height and design intent.
The results are a connected space that echoes their brand identity and creates a landing spot for ALPA’s team and the pilots and aviation specialists they represent. We truly enjoyed collaborating with the client who expressed their satisfaction with the project stating:
"I cannot think of anything I would ask of your team to improve or change as any on-site requests were all handled in a timely manner and without hesitation… We never felt ill informed or out of the loop. "
